CONTRACEPTIVOS EN MUJERES HIV POSITIVAS

El uso de contraceptivos en mujeres HIV positivas y que estén recibiendo terapia antirretroviral, puede tener problemas, pues la terapia antirretroviral puede disminuir la eficacia de los contraceptivos para evitar un embarazo no deseado y los contraceptivos orales pueden aumentar la toxicidad de la terapia antirretroviral (British Medical Journal 2013; 347: f6695).
