There are many testimonies of those who have had an abortion and afterwards suffered from post abortion syndrome. They are not only young girls, but also older women who could be grandmothers, staff at abortion clinics who participated in abortions, and - let us not forget – men who have counselled or forced a partner to have an abortion. Many suffer from post abortion syndrome all their life. Some recuperate and others……
I have found a very interesting testimony: Lianna Rebolledo Peralta, a 33 year old Mexican woman, who, despite having been raped at 12 years of age , decided to continue with the life of her little girl and not take the easy solution of an abortion. Here is an interview with her on Channel 169 of Mexican cablevision: Her daughter now is 20 years old, and it is she who has inspired her mother to continue living and conquer her temptations to commit suicide. This is what has given meaning to her life. It is not just a story. The life of Lianna was not at all easy, that of a single mother struggling to earn a living to support herself and her daughter. But in her life there is no bitterness, nor hatred, but hope and love for her daughter.

Me he encontrado con un testimonio singular: Lianna Rebolledo Peralta, una mujer mexicana de 33 años de edad, quien a pesar de haber sido violada a los doce años, decidió continuar con la vida de su niña y no recurrir a la fácil no solución del aborto. Su hija tiene ahora 20 años, y ella es lo que motivó a Lianna a seguir viviendo, superó así sus tentaciones de suicidio.Esto es lo que ha dado sentido a su vida. No es un cuento, la vida de Lianna no está resultando fácil: madre soltera que tiene que luchar por sacar su vida y la de su hija adelante. Pero no hay en su vida rencor, ni odio; sino esperanza y amor por su hija.
